A Sight Being Miss



Many many times, we do not look up when we are outside exploring. There are so many sights that we will miss if we just don't pay enough attention and it can be the simplest thing. Take a step back, slow down and just enjoy the surrounding. There are always unexpected things waiting to be uncover.

Light at The End of Tunnel



This is not a tunnel. It is actually taken inside a cave underneath a waterfall where the hole funnel water into it creating yet another beautiful sight even when it's view from underneath the waterfall.

Sisterhood



The Three Sisters that depicts rock formation through erosion. The modern day tourism industry has created a legend (or a myth) that says that three sisters fell in love with three men from a neighbouring tribe, but marriage was forbidden by tribal law. Battle ensued, and the sisters were turned to stone by an elder to protect them, but he was killed in the fighting and no one else could turn them back.
It is amazing whether you believe it or not.

Eyesight that kills



A magnificent animal that keep people at awe when it soars high in the sky. Such a precise landing and with that eyesight that kills.

Where Are All Those People?



Those empty chair lifts make the winter day look extra lonely. Where have all those skiers or snowboarders gone to?

Vancouver At Night



This is not the skyline of Vancouver downtown. It's a night view of apartments building in Vancouver. Not everyone is home or maybe some have already gone to bed.

Adjustment



I have been to couple countries however never once did I see a sign to tell you to adjust your conversion system. This is at the border of US and Canada when you enter Canada. I think it's pretty cool to remind people to adjust for the safety of everyone on the road.

Happy Independence Day



This was taken this New Year, since I was not able to get to the fireworks show on time this year, this would have to do. Happy Independence Day all.

Just can't resist to take this one since it reminds me of Time Square in New York City.

Reflection



I wonder how often do we really look deep into ourselves and reflect on what we did in the past, present and future. If we do look around there are many reminder to remind us to do a little reflection at least once in a while.

Dry out



Towards the end of Fall, trees are always without leaves. It keeps on reminding us that season comes season goes, and time wait for no one. Live today as though it is your last that way there will not be any regret.

Looking up to Mom



Animal are not that different from us human being. The young do look up to their mom in everything that it does because it knows that mom will protect them no matter what.

Sunset at Anchorage



From the coastline of Anchorage, I got to see a different sunset. One that I would remember for a long time. It was a great trip to Alaska. Next time I shall try going to the northern part of the state to experience the real cold.

Found that the fig is ripe in my backyard, so thought I would capture it to remind myself what does it look like before it is being eaten by squirrels.

Crashing Wave



We normally look at the wave crashing on the beach where it is wide open. Just want to show what does it look like from under a bridge.

Another Day of Work



Another day of work for grandmother Sun and time for his retreat. We will bid goodbye temporarily and as always she always gives us a show right before heading off work. What a beauty.

Ecosystem


I was trimming the Iris in my garden when I saw these two little guys crawling around. How amazing that everyday we are seeing the ecosystem works without us noticing it.

Sweet Treat



Once in a while we need to treat ourselves to a sweet treat. A friend once told me that life is bitter enough, why deprive yourself of some sweet treat. It is not such a sin, just as long as you do not have it daily.

Pastel houses


Taken at Capitola, a small city that potrait a different kind of feeling. You can relax at the beach or just a stroll around town and stay for a dinner.

Architecture of Love


This mausoleum is build by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal as a symbol of his love for her. One has to be there to experience how great an architecture can be build even without the technology we have today.

Food Source



How well do we grow or where do we grow towards are all determine by our food source. This bud in growing towards where it can find light.

Sunset of the Pacific Ocean


After a long day at work, it is about time for the sun to retire and the moon to start its workday. Have a good rest and we will see you again tomorrow to spread a little sunshine into our lives.

Monarch Butterfly


Pacific Grove near Santa Cruz, California is home to the Monarch Grove Sanctuary. Every winter, thousands and thousands of Monarch Butterflies cluster together on the pines and eucalyptus at the sanctuary. They arrive in October and will stay until February, when they will join the spring Monarch migration, spreading northward and eastward as they hunt for milkweed plants on which to lay their eggs.

Fun Day At The Beach


This reminds me of my childhood with my siblings, enjoying a fun day at the beach with no worries except load of fun.

Harbor Bridge, Sydney Australia


This is the magnificent Harbor Bridge in Sydney, Australia. For those who are adventurous enough, there is a tour that can take you on a climb to the top of the bridge for an even greater view. For faint hearted like me, the view of the bridge from the boat is not too bad a choice.

Lucky Star


It is so well camouflage in the rock bed, if I didn't look carefully I would probably miss it. It my lucky day.

Sea Anemone


Trying a macro shot of this sea anemone but with the water washing up all the time, cannot get a very clear picture, this is the best one out of a bunch. I still need tons of practice.

Color of Spring


Whenever Summer is here, I always long for when the next Spring will be arriving. The bright colors and wonderful weather of Spring just brighten up the day. It feels like flowers are singing and dancing in the air celebrating every day.
